The Doubler's Den

Hello,

Hope your Doubling Quest is on track and you're earning loads of money and learning lots of new stuff

Unfortunately, I've not been able to spend too much time at The Den over past year or so as I've had my hands full with setting up a new business venture.

I was recently reminded of the website when I received the renewal notice for the domain name. My initial reaction was to let it expire as I didn't think it would be getting much use, however upon visiting the forum, I see that quite a lot of you are still actively using the facility and some of the discussions are very informative.

I checked out the advertising revenue it had earned over the previous twelve months and, sadly, it wasn't enough to cover the domain name and hosting fees. Nevertheless, I think it would be a shame to see it go.

Therefore, I've decided to integrate some PPC inline contextual text ads with the website (you will notice them as double-underlined links). They are provided by a company called Infolinks, who I've found to be much more lucrative than Adsense on some of my websites.

They shouldn't interfere too much with your viewing pleasure but if anyone has any problems or can suggest any alternative revenue generating ideas, please don't hesitate to contact me.

Hopefully, these ads combined with the Google Adsense should generate enough revenue to cover the running costs.

I am glad to see that you were able to continue the forum and I hope the additional advertising pulls in enough funds to keep it going.

Doubler's Den has been a central gathering place for the Doublers out there and it is great that we can still be able to enjoy it.
